yes, i know they're normally self-portraits.
and yes, i bet they DO get annoying.
but honestly, i love taking them.
for one, they give me something to do when i'm bored.
for another, editing them and such is a FAVORITE pasttime for me.

and i think self portraits can sometimes reveal a LOT about a person--i like to try to make it cryptic, add little details that only i'll get.

it's fun.

but haha, i know no one's really made a big deal about how all my shots are me, but i like to try to explain that. cos it bugs me sometimes. haha.
i'm not vain, really if you knew me you'd know i was the exact opposite.
the only reason i take all these pics of myself is the fact that i don't really have any other subjects when i feel inspiration coming. i have an idea, and right then i want to shoot it and play with it.
as soon as inspiration strikes somewhere beside my bedroom, i'll take advantage of it.

till then, you'll just hafta deal with pics of me. haha.

thanks for all the encouragement concerning my photography lately--it really helps, and makes me so happy! i really enjoy it and am looking foward to more experimentation.
